Dear Sleep Doctors

This week our question comes from Stan. He writes….

Dear Sleep Doctors,
I was diagnosed with extreme sleep apnea in 2008. I use a BiPAP machine with
little success. I use the machine every night, but it does not help me
enough. I know it’s a matter of time before I go into cardiac arrest unless
this is treated. My current doctor only will discuss using the machine or
doing surgery. If I bring up any alternative, she is not willing to discuss
it. What about you?
Sincerely, Stan
